- Niepoprawnie wykryte ustawienia rozdzielczości i odświeżania (xorg.conf niby jest teraz deprecated i ustawienia nie są w nim zapisane) serwer podobno wykrywa wszystko teraz automagicznie szkoda, że niepoprawnie i nie wiadomo gdzie podejrzeć ustawienia jakie domyślnie stosuje xorg.

- Monitor uporczywie mruga co kilkanaście sekund.

- Domyślnie włączone efekty pulpitu przy zmianie rozdzielczości powodują kompletny zwis całego systemu (pomaga tylko reset).

- Nie działa Bluetooth.

- Brak szczegółowej konfiguracji udostępniania plików.

- Niepoprawny wpis w menu.lst dla Windows XP.to ni jestem pewien czy w obecnym stanie to się

- Brak polskich znaków w konsoli pomimo wybrania odpowiedniego języka.

- Oraz jak zwykłe niekompletne tłumaczenie PL.

Dziwi mnie jak oni mogli wydać system który po instalacji nie obsluguje np bezprzewodowych sieciowek intela – zwłaszcza że na starym jajku wszystko działalo bez problemu. Mnogość niedoróbek w 8.10 po prostu mnie rozwala. Nie po to robi się nowe wydanie, żeby trzeba bylo od razu czekać na aktualizację. Bawcie się dobrze na imprezie…

Używam z lenistwa Ubu 8.04.1 LTS.

Teraz czekam na wersję 8.10.1 (jeżeli będzie).

Przekonałem się już wcześniej, że nie ma co się spieszyć z instalacją nowego Ubu (8.04 też nie instalowałem). Po co mam się denerwować (nie jestem szewcem )i tracić czas jak starsza wersja dobrze działa. Tylko testowo z ciekawości na nowej partycji sprawdzę jaki jest, ale to dopiero pod koniec listopada. Niech najpierw usuną podstawowe bugi.
