Polskie stanowisko w sprawie OOXML: brak konsensusu

Na wczorajszym posiedzeniu PKN nie udało się osiągnąć konsensusu w sprawie polskiego stanowiska odnośnie proponowanej normy Office Open XML, wspieranej przez Microsoft i ECMA. Mamy jeszcze 10 dni na podjęcie ostatecznej decyzji.
A było tak:
20 marca br., odbyło się głosowanie nad przyjęciem Rekomendacji dotyczącej utrzymania stanowiska polskiego z listopada 2007 r. w sprawie przyjęcia propozycji normy ISO/IEC DIS 29500 (OOXML) zgłoszonej przez Microsoft. Głosowanie odbyło się podczas posiedzenia Komitetu Technicznego nr 182 ds. Ochrony Informacji w Systemach Teleinformatycznych (KT 182) przy Polskim Komitecie Normalizacyjnym. Na posiedzeniu obecnych było 24 członków a ich głosy rozkładały się następująco:
- 12 głosów za,
- 10 głosów przeciw,
- 2 wstrzymujących się.
Jednakże wobec braku wyraźnego konsensu w odniesieniu do Rekomendacji, KT 182 podjął decyzję o przeprowadzeniu głosowania korespondencyjnego przez wszystkich jej członków (w sumie 45) w trybie elektronicznym. Ma to na celu potwierdzenie decyzji KT 182 wobec projektu normy OOXML.
Zatem stanowisko Polski w sprawie przyjęcia poprawek Microsoft dotyczących OOXML nie jest jeszcze ostateczne. Zdecyduje o tym następne korespondencyjne głosowanie.

Wynik głosowania to 12 do 10 a KT 182, i tak chce wysłać rekomendację dla OOXML [znowu] choć już raz ten format został odrzucony przez ISO.

A mi jest po prostu wstyd. I tak bardzo dziwne, że aż tyle głosów przeciwko było.

Dziesięciu głupców zagłosowało na "nie", a mogli się przecież szybko wzbogacić jak pozostała dwunastka.
Są niepostępowi. Przecież wiadomo, że dzisiaj głosowania nie są od rozstrzygnięcia prawdy, ale od wzięcia dodatkowych pieniędzy na boku. Wstyd. W żadnym zachodnim kraju tylu członków komitetu nie zrezygnowałoby z profitów. Po prostu jeden zaścianek.

Mam nadzieje, że na innych spotkaniach się pojawiają i wiedzą chociaż jaki jest temat tych spotkań.
Wydaje mi sie czy tez prezes PKN zapewnial, ze kt182 to najepsze miejsce do podejmowania decyzji w sprawie OOXML, ze dla wszystkich czlonkow tego komitetu ta sprawa jest badzo wazna, istotna i sa zywo nia zainteresowani… a tu nawet polowa nie raczyla przyjsc na glosowanie, a skoro nie przyszli na glosowanie to ciekawe, czy chociaz odrobinke sie tym interesuja? (..o to, czy zagladneli do specyfikacji formatu to nawet boje sie pytac

Owszem. Instytucję PKN należy rozwiązać. Po prostu do granic możliwości nie spełnia swoich zadań.
Niech Microsoft sam wysyła do ISO zdanie Polski na temat swojego formatu. Ale niech robi to bezpośrednio, a nie poprzez ten cyrk.
Coś czuję, że, na wzór "Thank you, Poland", za niedługo bedzięmy musieli zrobić bannery "Polska przeprasza za swoje Komitety Techniczne"…
Ja nie widzę powodu po co się w ogóle nad tym zastanawiać. Większość krajów odwraca się Microsoftu a u nas wystarczy że zaoferują tańsze Office albo Window$y i nagle OOXML stanie się dla osób z władzą ciekawą propozycją. JESTEM PRZECIW.
Może i ja się wypowiem w tej sprawie.
Czytałem różne artykuły na to, widziałem różne opinie, czytałem, jakie wady ma ten format i stwierdzam, że przy tak prostych rzeczach, jak daty, czy formatowanie, to nie powinien on zostać przyjęty. Skoro dobrze opłacani programiści, nie potrafią zrobić kilku rzeczy, a chcą wprowadzić na rynek nieprzystosowany format, który przy przesyłaniu bardzo ważnych dokumentów, nagle odmówi współpracy np z officem 2003 i krach…… nie chcę nawet mówić, jakie będą tego konsekwencje.
Zatem panowie i panie, młode pokolenie WiOO, stańmy się siłą, albo staruchy czasów MS nadal będą rządziły!!
Trzeba jeszcze wspomnieć, że nie ma tak naprawdę żadnego pakietu oprogramowania, które jest w pełni zgodne z Standardem OOXML… nawet sam Office podobno nie jest zgodny ^^
Gdyby mieli głowę, to ze względu choćby na tak podstawowe i banalne wady, nie powinni nawet się fatygować o standaryzację, ale kto ma kasę, ten rządzi…
Miejmy tylko nadzieje, że inne kraje będą miały lepsze komitety i nie przyjmą standardu….

To prawda, ale nie wyklucza to wsadzania za kratki przekupnych urzędasów i walki z korupcją lub załatwianiem własnych interesów poprzez państwowe instytucje.
Dobra, a czy ktokolwiek tutaj ma choćby jakieś poszlaki świadczące o tym, że mogło dość do "przekupstwa"? Czy tylko tak obrażacie ludzi, żeby zademonstrować swój poziom?
Cóż – poszlaki to wszelkie nieprawidłowości i naginanie procedur, zmiany komitetów, itd. To chyba wystarczające powody by nabrać podejrzeń?
Poza tym, skoro to nie wystarcza do stwierdzenia, że coś w całej sprawie śmierdzi, to po co co chwila artykuł na ten temat? Skoro wszystko jest w porządku, to niech sobie standaryzują ooxml w spokoju.
A jeżeli jednak coś jest nie tak, to przy takiej skali "uchybień" może mieć tylko jedną przyczynę. Albo łapówki, albo załatwianie własnych interesów. Ale na pewno ci ludzie nie uczestniczą w czymś, co można określić procesem standaryzacyjnym.
Do podejrzeń wystarczy. Ale podejrzenia nie uprawniają do oskarżania kogoś o coś tak paskudnego.
Na zasadzie 'nie ma dymu bez ognia' …
Jest jeszcze jedna opcja – Ci ludzie o ogóle nie znają się na tym co robią, a że MS jest znany to na pewno to co robi jest super więc głosujmy za.

To, co akceptuje ECMA trudno nazwać standardem.
Jest to raczej organizacja oparta na towarzystwie wzajemnej adoracji. Na zasadzie "Chwalą nas. | Kto? | Wy mnie, a ja was." starają się dopiero utorować wielu bublom technicznym łatwiejszą drogę do ISO.
Oczywiście nie wszytko co przeszło przez ECMA jest złe. Ale to, że przeszło, nie oznacza jednak, że do czegokolwiek się nadaje.
